POS is a Gem subject to a monthly fee that you can activate from the Holded Store. It is composed of a section on the platform, for stores and inventory management, and an application for iOS or Android tablets for daily usage in a physical store. Learn more about POS in this section.
How to get there
- Open the Control menu and click on Configuration
- Select POS
- Click on Store preferences
Accounting account preferences
By default, the system will use the accounts assigned to the chart of accounts of your Holded company profile. In case you need to modify them, follow the steps below:
- Select from the respective drop-down menu the accounting accounts where to record the entries of your sales and refunds.
- Click on Save

Tags preferences
You can create Tags to mark, organize and analyze the documents generated from your store's sales and refunds.
- From the Tags section, type the name of each of your tags
- Click on Save

Numeration preferences
In order to be able to select it, you will have to create the numbering format from the invoicing settings first. Learn more here.
- Select from the respective drop-down menu the numbering format for sales tickets and refunds
- Click on Save
