Activate the Inventory paid gem from the Holded Store to enjoy the Scan Products functionality

How to get there
- Go to the menu Create of one of these documents:
- Under the row containing Concept, Description, and Price, click the Scan products icon
Add products to documents using the scanner
Remember that you will need to have created the products and assigned the barcodes before you can scan them. Learn how to create a product and how to use advanced options when creating one
This functionality allows you to automatically add your products to Holded documents so that your inventory management is as efficient as possible. Simply, you will need to have a barcode scanner available
- Activate or deactivate the option to Sum same items in one line
- Swipe the scanner's reader over the barcode on the product. The products will be added to your documents as you scan them
When scanning products with variants, lots, or serial numbers, a window will open where you can select the variant, lot, or serial number you need. In sales and purchase orders, remember to activate the option select lot/sn to display this window
Supported Barcodes
There are several types of barcodes that Holded can work with, however we can guarantee correct operation with the following:
- Code 128 Auto
- EAN 8
- EAN 13
- UPC-A
Remember that the management of problems related to the scan or the configuration between the PC and the scanner is channeled directly with the manufacturer. Check the user manual or contact technical support
