Remember that in order to start invoicing your projects, you will first need to set up your billing and budgeting preferences per project. These preferences always take precedence over the general project billing and budgeting settings you have set up in Holded.
- Go to Projects from the navigation bar
- Click on Projects
- Enter the corresponding project
Creating budgets for your projects
With this option, you can generate a quote directly from the project you are working on, so you only have to review it and save the document.
- Go to the Billing tab
- Click on Quote
- In Amount, add the figure corresponding to the project
- Hit Review quote
- Check that the data is correct, and make changes if necessary
- Click on Save
After following these steps, the budget will be directly associated with the project. You will be able to check it within the project itself or by accessing the budget itself, in the Categorization section.
