POS is a Gem subject to a monthly fee that you can activate from the Holded Store. It is composed of a section on the platform, for stores and inventory management, and an application for iOS or Android tablets for daily usage in a physical store. Learn more about POS here.

How to get there
- From your device, open the POS app
- Access the sidebar by pressing on the three-line menu (☰)
- Tap on Settings
Setting up a printer
In order for the POS app to recognize the printer, you will need to connect it to your device first and configure the Bluetooth or Wi-Fi settings.
Please note that POS currently only works with Star Micronics printers.
- Select Add a Printer
- Tap on Search for devices
- Grant the permission to activate Bluetooth
- If a compatible printer is found, it will appear in the list of devices
- Select the printer
- Define the paper size
- Save the changes
Tap on Print test to check if the connection works correctly
Setting up a barcode scanner
The POS app is compatible with the majority of barcode scanners that can be connected via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or cable. In order for the app to recognize it, you will need to connect it to your device first and configure the Bluetooth or Wi-Fi settings.
Depending on the manufacturer, you will need to follow a series of instructions. Check the scanner's manual for more information.
Setting up a cash drawer
Although a cash drawer cannot be directly connected to the POS application, you can connect it to your printer using a special type of cable (RJ11 or RJ12) so that each time a receipt is printed, the drawer will open.
