POS is a Gem subject to a monthly fee that you can activate from the Holded Store. It is composed of a section on the platform, for stores and inventory management, and an application for iOS or Android tablets for daily usage in a physical store. Learn more about POS in this section.
How to get there
- Go to Sales from the toolbar
- Select Points of sale
How to create a cash register
Remember that for each store profile created, a default register will be generated, and you will only have to fill in its details.
- Go to Points of sale
- Access to the store profile
- Press the New register button, located at the top right of your screen
- Name your register and add a short description. By default, the system will create a cash account with the same name.
- Add one of your bank accounts
If you haven't done it yet, learn here how to add a bank account in Holded
- Click on Save
For each of the payment methods, either cash or card, you would have to assign a treasury account, which can you can find in the Banking section. Learn more here.
How to modify a cash register
- Go to Points of sale
- Access to the store profile
- Click the 3-dots menu (⋮), next to your register
- Select Edit
How to delete a cash register
- Go to Points of sale
- Access to the store profile
- Click the 3-dots menu (⋮), next to your register
- Select Delete
To delete a cash register, it is necessary to have created at least two: the system will always keep one register per store by default.
