- Access the Control menu
- Click on Settings
- Go to Projects > Tasks
Task types are used to assign a certain category to the tasks you create in your projects. This way, you can classify your tasks according to their content.
If the default task types offered by Holded do not suit you, you have the possibility to create other types to assign to the tasks you add to your projects. Similarly, if you need to modify them, you also have editing options available.
Creating and editing task types
A. Creating new task types
- Click on New type
- Assign a name to the new type in order to quickly identify the task category
- Enter a brief explanation of the task type using the Description field
- Choose an icon to represent the new task type
- Associate a color to the new task type
- Click on Create task type to finalize the process
B. Editing task types
- Click on the type of task you want to edit
- Modify the Name, Description, Icon, or Color fields as appropriate
- Hit Save for the changes to take effect
In case you want to delete the task type, simply click on Delete
