Activate the paid gem of Inventory on the Holded Store to import products with variants, lots, serial numbers and packs.

Get there
- Go to Inventory on the navbar
- Select Products
- Click on the three-dot button
- Select Import/Update
You can also import products by following this path Control menu > Import. Then you just need to select Products inside Inventory.
Import simple products
- Choose Simple product as product type
- Download the related import template and fill it in
- Drag-and-drop or upload the filled-in import template
Fill in the simple product template
These are the fields that you can find in the simple product template and are shared with all other product import templates — with variants, with lots, and with serial numbers.
Mandatory fields are marked with a star ( * ). It's important to add as much information as possible about the product to get a detailed overview of your stock on Holded.

The Stock Keeping Unit is the unique reference number that identify each product. It's mandatory for product import. |

The product reference name |
Description |
A brief explanation with the product details. It will be visible on the documents. |
Type |
The predefined product type: simple product, product with variants, product with lots, product with serial numbers. In this case, select simple product. |
Barcode |
The EAN reference number, if available |
Factory code |
The manufacturing code, if it's different from the SKU code |
Cost |
The amount calculated as the average stock value based on the purchase invoices value. You can edit manually this field and it will be used in stock reports. |
Subtotal |
The price of sales before taxes |
Purchase price |
The amount before taxes used in the purchase documents, like purchase invoices or orders. The value of this field is fixed, meaning that it isn't calculated automatically. However, you can edit it manually. |
Sales tax |
The tax type for sales documents |
Purchase tax |
The tax type for purchase documents |
Stock |
The number of product units available in the warehouse |
Weight |
The product weight expressed in kilograms |
Start date |
The product creation date. The platform will assign automatically the date of the import for simple products and products with variants. |
Tags |
Labels will help you identify the documents that include the product. If you use more than one tag, separate them with the underscore sign ( _ ). |
Supplier |
The reference code of the provider that you can find on the purchase documents |
Sales account |
Select an account to assign the invoice to a sales channel and segment your sales by channel. They must always be accounts of sales or income groups (70, 75, 76, or 77). |
Purchase account |
Select an account to assign the invoice to an expense type and segment your purchases by account. They should always be group accounts for purchases or expenses (60, 65, 66, or 67). |
Warehouse |
The default warehouse registered on Holded |
