How to get there
- Go to the Inventory section on the navbar
- Select Products
- Click on the three-dot button
- Select Import products
You can import products also following the path Control menu > Import, and then select Products inside Inventory.
Import products with variants
- Choose Product with variants as predefined product type
- Download the corresponding import template and fill it in
- Drag-and-drop or upload the completed import template

Keep in mind that it's necessary to create variants on Holded to import products with variants. Learn here how to create them.
On top of the fields shared with the template for simple products, the template for products with variants shows two specific fields to distinguish the information related to each variant:

The unique reference number that differentiates variants for each global product |
Variant barcode |
The EAN unique reference number that belongs to each variant. In case it is available. |
The SKU code identifies the global product that includes all the variants. On the other hand, the SKU variant code is used to add specific information related to each variant. These specific fields of the template only are updated for each variant, together with the barcode, the subtotal, and the cost. All other fields are updated for the global product only.
