Remember that from the contact dashboard you can consult and manage all the data related to a specific contact.
Get there
- Go to Contacts from the navigation bar
- Click on the contact you want to view
- In the side panel, click on the contact's name or on the More button to access the complete dashboard

View and edit contact details
Get there
In the Summary section, go to the section on the left
From this section you can see all the fields related to the contact information, and you can get to delete or edit contacts from the three-point menu.
- Contact name and photo
- The type of customer will be reflected by a label next to the name
- Contact's VAT number
- Email of the registered contact
- Contact's address (address, city, postal code, province, country)
- Country of the contact
- Custom fields

- Social networks associated to the contact
- Sales and purchase taxes: these data are entered in the contact's accounting section
- Customer account and supplier account: these accounts are also filled in from the contact's accounting section
- Company related to the contact

Check Portal information
Get there
The Portal data is located on the left side, just below the contact information
From this area you can:
- Give access to your Holded Catalog: if you have previously activated the app from the Holded store, you can use the toggle in this section to give the contacts of your choice access to your Catalog. Once you have activated this option, you can send the catalog link to specific contacts.

- Activate payment gateways: Use the selector to activate payment via PayPal or Stripe for the contacts of your choice
- Set a password for the portal: Click on the Set password button to generate a new password in case your contacts forget theirs
- View the client portal: Click this button to access the client portal and all business documents sent to the contact

Consult reports
Get there
Reports is located under the Portal section, on the left side
To access a list of products and services purchased or sold to a contact, click on the buttons available in this area:
- Sold products
- Sold services
- Bought products
- Bought services
In the detail table of each of the reports you can use the date selector and the search bar to make more advanced queries on the products and services sold or purchased to the contact.
Analyze sales and purchases information
Get there
The sales and purchase information is located in the central part of the contact dashboard
From here you can view data about the sales (in case of customers) and purchases (in case of suppliers) you have had with this contact during the year.
From the drop-down menu at the top right you can select the year to be taken into account to consult the data on sales and purchases
- Sales: Corresponds to the sales you have invoiced to the customer
- Pending collection: All sales or corrective purchases that the customer still owes you
- Purchases: All purchases that the supplier in question has invoiced you for
- Pending payment: This corresponds to your outstanding debt with the supplier
- Total collected: The figure corresponds to everything you have already collected from the customer
- Payments on account: The figure corresponds to the total prepayments you have made since the sales order. If you go into sales orders from the contact dashboard, you will be able to review the prepayments you have made
- Sales graph: View of the sales that have taken place per month
- Purchase chart: View of the purchases made per month
The options + Invoice (in the case of customers) or + Purchase, (in the case of suppliers) are shortcuts that you can use to quickly associate new purchase or sales documents to specific contacts.
If you access the Sales or Purchases tab at the top, you can consult the table with the details of all invoices and purchases related to that contact (date, number, due date, description, tags, accounts and status, among others).
Create and associate new documents
Get there
Click on the create button (+) located at the top right of the screen
From the drop-down select one of the following options to be able to create and associate new sales or purchase documents to a specific contact:
- Invoice
- Sales ticket
- Corrective sale
- Quote
- Purchase
- Rectifying purchase

Add upcoming activities
Get there
- Go to the Upcoming activities area, just above the sales and purchasing information
- Click on + New activity
From Upcoming activities you can add and schedule events of various types associated with a specific contact.

Generate and associate deals to the contact
Get there
- Go to the Open deals section
- Click on + New deal
Through this section you can create deals and associate them to a contact. You can define the value of the deal, the funnel it belongs to, who it is assigned to, the expected closing date and the probability of converting such deal into a real sale.

Include notes
Get there
- Go to the Notes tab
- Click on Add note
- Add a title
- Provide a description or comment
- Optionally, assign a color to the note
- Hit Save
Attach files
Get there
- Go to the Files tab
- Click on Upload file
- Select the file you want to upload
- Confirm
When you upload files from this area, they will be associated to that specific contact
