The Catalog app is a Gem available in the Holded store and is subject to a monthly fee. Learn here what it is and what you can do with it.
Manage the Catalog app
1. Activate the Catalog app
Get there
- Access the Control menu
- Select the Holded store
- Go to the Gems section at the top of the screen
- Click on Catalog
- Click on Start 14-day trial or Activate full version
2. Complete the Configuration options
Get there
- Select Inventory from the navigation bar
- Select Control Panel
- Click on View catalog
- Go to the Configuration box
- Check the necessary options: Show stock, Show tags, Import product description when creating sales orders from Catalog
3. Create your products
Refer to the Inventory section in the Holded Academy to learn what a product is in Holded, what types exist and how to create them.
4. Preview your Catalog
Get there
- Select Inventory from the navigation bar
- Select Control Panel
- Click on View catalog
- Inside the Holded Catalog box, click on the View catalog button
5. Give your contacts access to the Holded Catalog
Get there
Go to Contacts from the navigation bar
- Select the contact you want to give access to
- Hit More
- Go to the Portal section on the left hand side
- Use the toggle under Holded catalog to activate the contact's access
- Click Send link to contact
- Click Send to allow the contact to access the Catalog
