This article will show you additional options and tips for your invoices. This will enable you to create and edit invoices quickly 🌟

Attach files to your invoices
If you would like to attach files to your invoices, you can easily do this. Click on the invoice app, select an invoice and on the right hand side of the invoices you'll find further options: Files - upload documents and upload your files. This is a great way to refer to your invoices, if you have any documents relating to the invoice, you'll be able to use this as a reference guide.
Duplicate an invoice
You can also duplicate any invoices, this is a good way to replicate an invoice for a different contact. To do this click on the invoicing app, then click on Sales (from the left hand side nav bar) and click on Invoices, from this tab click on an invoice and then click on the ººº click on the Duplicate button and edit the information accordingly 👍
Write notes and messages in your invoices
You'll have the option to include any notes and messages in your invoices so that you and those you have given access to view the invoices will be able to see this. To add a note or/and a message, click on an invoice and then click on the conversation icon (this is located next to the details button), scroll down to the bottom of the page and add a note and message. This will then be saved and will appear in this section.
A note will appear with a yellow background and a message will appear with a blue background.
Choose who has the option to modify invoices
When you have added a user to your account, you'll have the option to select which fields they can edit and see in their account. If you've already added a user to your account, click on Settings and click on the Users tab, then click on the user and edit the permissions accordingly.
If you haven't created a user, you can do so by clicking on Settings click on Users then click Add a user. When adding a user, you'll also be able to manage their permissions for your Holded account so you can choose what they can see and edit. This can always be changed from the same place .
Export your invoices
You can easily export your invoices from your Holded account. To do this click on Invoices and click on the drop down arrow (located next to the date filter). You can choose to export to Excel or PDF.
Change a sales channel
If you'd like to change a sales channel to what's already assigned to your invoice, you can do this individually or you can choose to edit multiple invoices. To do this click on invoices and then select the invoices by clicking on the checkboxes located to the left of the invoice numbers, you can select one or more invoices, after this click on sales channel. This will then provide you with the option to change the sales channel associated with the invoice.
Convert an invoice to a sales receipt or sales order
Once you've created an invoice, you'll have the option of converting this to a sales receipt or sales order. To do this all you need to do is click on a specific invoice and then click on convert. Choose which document to convert this to and this will be created automatically.
You now have additional tips and information regarding the various options available for invoices, and you'll be able to access and edit the information in no time!
