Bulk Stock Update
How to update your products in bulk
To begin updating your stock in bulk, you'll need to have the inventory app enabled in your Holded account. To do this, simply click on the Holded Store, then on Inventory and finally Turn on. Once you have the Inventory app enabled, click on Update bulk stock.
To start updating your stock in bulk, you'll need to make sure that you have the Inventory app enabled.
- Click on the Inventory app, then Update Bulk Stock, and finally download the import template
- Complete the fields for the SKU (stock keeping unit for the item), Warehouse ID (this is the point of reference that is unique for the warehouses you create in your Holded account), Stock difference (here you will need to enter a value, either as a positive number or as a negative number- for example, if you would like to minus stock for a particular item, you'll need to enter - followed by a number; if you would like to add stock, you'll need to enter the values without a + sign as these are already identified as a positive number), Description, and Lots SKU
- Each time you update the stock in a warehouse, you'll be able to keep track of your bulk stock history from the warehouse. This will show all the times you have changed stock and this is a useful way to make sure you are managing your warehouses effectively and this is also a great point of reference when you need to find out when you updated any stock
Where to find the Warehouse ID:
The Warehouse ID is located in Warehouses. To get to this click on the Inventory app, then click Warehouses. Select the warehouse you have added into Holded, scroll down to the information section, and below phone, you should find a key icon followed by a set of numbers and letters. Copy this and add this reference to the Warehouse ID column in the import Excel file.
What is the difference between an SKU and a LOT SKU
The SKU is the stock keeping unit for a particular item but the LOT SKU is the stock keeping item for a lot (products in bulk).
