Once an employee submits an absence request, the administrator (the person who is managing the account) will receive an email with the requested absence.
How to change the status of a request
- Once you have received an email of the request, click on the link to visit your portal.
- Click on the request that is pending for approval, and select Approved or Rejected
- The employee will then receive an email with an update to their request
- The employee will also be able to see the status of their request from their team portal, this will show as pending, accepted or rejected. Once this has been approved the teams calendar will also be updated
If you have accidentally denied an employee's request, you can create an absence that will automatically be approved for that employee.
