1) Create your stores
By creating several warehouses you can organise the logistics of your business very well, you'll know what products and how much stock you have for each of them.
In a few simple steps you'll know how to create warehouses in Holded:
- Access the Inventory app: Click on Warehouses, you'll then find a default warehouse already created for you. This will have the name of your company.
- Create a new warehouse: When selecting create warehouse you will see many fields to fill in, fill in the basic fields. To differentiate the different warehouses we recommend you to choose different colors. For example you can use the red colour for the other store. You can also select it as the main warehouse so that when you enter stock to a product or make invoices appear by default.
- Add stock to the new warehouse: Go to the product tab located in the warehouses tab, next to the Summary option. Select the product and then click on update stock. You'll find the Warehouse drop-down list, inside the tab you'll see all the warehouses that you've created. Select one and add, for example, 20 units.
- Create a sales order or waybill: If you click on options and then click origin you can select the warehouse.
Note: Remember that you can only select the warehouse in Sales Orders and Waybills. You won't be able to select a warehouse in Invoices (in which the selected one will appear by default).
2) Check the stock of your warehouses
- Access the Inventory app
- Access the Warehouses section
- Select a warehouse and click Products
Export your stock: In this section you can check the current stock of each warehouse broken down by variant or lot, its cost value and sale value. By clicking on the top right drop-down you can select the option "Export to excel" to see all the information that you'll be able to filter even further.
